After a splendid day of lounging and what not at the Villa, we walked up to Grimaud, a delightful village paved with cobble stoned streets lined with restaurants, art galleries, a butcher and baker and many homes. We also walked up to a 12th century castle and after exploring this historic site. We dined at a restaurant that had a historical equestrian theme. The food was delicious...my favorite, "Mama Rosalie's" slow cooked beef stew, Provence style, hmm, hmm good!!!
